got asked to Prom today in the cutest way!

I was told that another girl was getting asked and they wanted me to film it… then a placard with “Reserved for Carol Wei” was placed on the stool and I had to hand the camera over… less than a minute later, Kenneth walked out with a guitar and serenaded me to Bruno Mars’s Marry You, except he changed the words to “Hey Carol, I wanna go to Prom with you”.

definitely the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. I’m so happy I get to go to Prom with someone I care about so much, who I’m so comfortable with, someone who actually understands and appreciates my humor, someone who gets me. Someone I call my best friend.

DANCING WITH THE STARS ’CATS

This week I was assigned to photograph the dance team’s practice.

I wasn’t able to get every jump, turn, or twist because to be honest, half the time I was completely mesmerized*, hypnotized, dazzled and amazed with what they were able to do with their bodies (THE LEG LIFTS!! THE RHYTHM! AND OH GOODNESS GRACIOUS THE SPLITS!!!) I posted a lot of the leftovers (after Ivan chose what he wanted) up on Facebook, but here are the bursts/animated gifs!
